Bumper fix

DIY fixed the front bumper over the last several days.. Been busy as always, so just spent like 20-30 minutes each night when I got home before I left the garage just fiberglassing, sanding, body filling, sanding, and some more sanding.


You'll notice if you look closely, that the center section of the bumper is actually only held on by zip ties.  It is completely a separately piece on its own, and I figured I couldn't possibly make it any worse than how it already was..

YNOT straps: theft proofed

On the night of Halloween while I was stuck in the library all night cramming for midterms, my YNOT straps were stolen off my bike.  BOOOOOOOOO!  I found out at 4 in the morning when I came out to ride over to McDonalds for a late night snack to recharge my brain, and it sucked.

Luckily, Tom was able to link me to a new set as soon as we could meet up.

Now, I've had YNOT straps on my bikes for almost two years now, and this was the first mishap.  I realize it's probably just bad luck with some hooligans on Halloween night, but I don't really wanna risk getting my straps stolen again..  So I decided to make these harder to steal.

I melted a hole in the middle of the straps and put a bolt on it.  The heads of the nut and bolt are the same size, so you'd need to carry around two sets of wrenches to get these off, so I'd think that they're nearly theft proof haha.

They're tucked away within the height of the pedal itself so they don't get in the way. :)

DISCLAIMER: If you try this, make sure you're in a well ventilated area.  I didn't and I have a headache.  AND if you messed up your straps, I'm not responsible, and neither is YNOT obviously.  :P
